How LAW.PH keeps its documents accurate.

Every document starts from Philippine law, checks your answers as you give them, and records the sources, version, and review status behind it.

How a document is built

From the law to your finished document.

  1. 01

    Start from the source

Each template is drafted from the Philippine statute, rule, or official issuance that governs it, such as the Civil Code, the Labor Code, the Data Privacy Act, or the Notarial Rules.

  2. 02

    Ask only what applies

Plain questions decide which clauses apply. Answers that the law does not allow, or that contradict each other, are flagged before the document is finished.

  3. 03

    Say how to sign it

Every document comes with a signing checklist: witnesses, notarization, registration, or tax steps where the document needs them.

Keeping current

Dated, versioned, and checked on a schedule.

You can see all of this on each document’s page, under “The Philippine law behind it.”

  • Every source is linked and dated

179 official sources are cited across 54 templates, each with the provisions relied on and the date it was last checked. The current checks run from October 1, 2026 to October 1, 2026.

  • Every template has a version

A change to a template’s wording or logic gets a new version number, and the document you buy is tied to the exact version you saw. A purchased document never changes after the fact.

  • Reviews are scheduled

Each template has its own next review date, from about two weeks to three months after its last check; wills and estate settlements are rechecked most often. The next one is due on October 21, 2026.

  • Changes in the law are tracked

When a law, rule, or issuance changes, every affected question, clause, and checklist item is identified before a new version is released.

Lawyer review

What the review label means.

No LAW.PH template is marked as lawyer-reviewed yet. Every document currently shows that independent review by a Philippine lawyer is pending.

  • “Reviewed by” names a real lawyer

The label appears only when an independent Philippine lawyer, identified by name and verified against the Roll of Attorneys, has approved that exact version of the template.

  • Approval is tied to the exact wording

If the template changes after approval, the label comes off until the new version is reviewed. Nobody at LAW.PH can switch it on by hand.

  • Approvals expire

Each approval has a review-by date. After it passes, the document shows as pending again until it is re-reviewed.

When something is wrong

Tell us, and it gets fixed in a new version.

  • Report a problem

If a document says something wrong or out of date, tell us. Corrections are released as a new version, and the document page shows the new version and check date.

  • Corrections and refunds

If the product fails you, there is a set path to a correction, a replacement, or a refund. Read the policy.

  • Your data and payments

Payments go through PayMongo’s secure checkout, so LAW.PH never sees your card number. How your answers are stored and used.
