Questions

Common questions.

More answers about documents, payments, and refunds are in the help center.

Is LAW.PH a law firm?
No. LAW.PH is legal self-help software, not a law firm, and it does not give legal advice. Every document shows its own review status and the Philippine sources behind it. When a situation needs a lawyer, our legal help page lists official routes to counsel and legal aid.
How much does a document cost?
Each document has one price, from ₱79 to ₱899, paid once. The interview and live preview are free, and there is no subscription. See every price.
Are the documents valid in the Philippines?
Templates are built on Philippine statutes and rules and list the sources they rely on. Whether a signed document holds up also depends on accurate facts and correct signing, witnessing, notarization, or registration, so every document comes with a plain signing checklist.
Do I need to have it notarized?
It depends on the document. Affidavits must be sworn before a notary, and deeds are usually notarized; many contracts only need the parties’ signatures. Each document’s page and signing checklist tell you what yours needs.
Can I change the document after I pay?
Yes. For 30 days after purchase you can create a revision, update names, dates, or amounts, and download the new Word and PDF files at no extra charge. The version you paid for stays in your account.
What if I don’t know which document I need?
Use the document finder. Describe your situation in your own words, or answer four quick questions, and it suggests the documents that fit and explains why.
